Every day at First Stop, we meet men and women who are taking hard steps forward while facing incredibly basic challenges. Often, the difference between a difficult day and a dignified one comes down to access to simple personal care and survival items.

Right now, our outreach and case management teams are seeing an increased need for essential hygiene supplies and practical items that help people stay healthy, comfortable, and prepared for changing conditions. These items are distributed directly through our day center, street outreach efforts, and case management services across the Tennessee Valley.

These items may seem small, but they matter deeply. Hygiene products help restore dignity. Tarps provide immediate protection from the elements. Reading glasses allow someone to complete paperwork, read instructions, or communicate more effectively. Each item helps remove one more barrier on the path toward stability.
